Description
Our linen yarn is a 3-ply, wet spun 100% Lithuanian linen yarn.
Like other linen yarns, it may be slightly stiff initially, but softens considerably with use. Knitting this yarn is not rough on the hands, since it is quite thin.
The 3-ply linen is well suited for lace knitting, shawls, and summer clothing. Work a single tread for airy shawls and summer clothing. Hold two or three threads together to make a heavily draping knitted fabric. Or hold the linen thread together with a silk, wool or alpaca yarn for comfortable all seasons garments.
Also excellent for weaving!
