The Wensley Fingerless Mittens are a pair of simple fingerless mittens, inspired by traditional Fair Isle knitting. A perfect project for those new to stranded knitting, with a choice of knitting flat and sewing together or knitting in the round (pattern describes both options). Wensley are named for the village in beautiful Wensleydale, one of the largest valleys of the Yorkshire Dales national park.
Less than half of each skein is actually used to work a pair of mittens, so you will be able to make 2 pairs.
