Description

Bestla is a soft and shiny, two-ply yarn spun from 65 % merino wool and 35 % silk by Henrichsens Uldspinderi in Skive, Denmark.

Excellent for knitting all the soft items that come into direct contact with the skin: shawls, hats, cowls, underwear and baby clothing.

The skeins are not washed, so they contain spinning oil. Before dyeing, let the yarn sit in lukewarm water with wool soap for a while.

If you wish to knit with this yarn without dyeing it, do wash it before knitting, escpecially in the case of using dyed and undyed yarn in the same project.
